G. West Saltonstall, CFA, CIC, President
G. West (Westy) Saltonstall is President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and Eaton Vance Trust Company. He manages portfolios for individual high-net-worth clients and institutional investors.
Prior to joining Eaton Vance in 2004, Westy previously served as director of Scudder Private Investment Counsel’s Boston office, where he had been affiliated since 1982. With prior experience in life insurance and estate planning, combined with seven years in the personal trust department of a Boston bank, Westy brought a diversity of financial expertise to Eaton Vance. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a B.A. from Williams College and is a Marine Corps veteran.
Westy is involved in many industry and community organizations, including the Investment Counsel Association of America and the Boston Society of Security Analysts. He is also Immediate Past Chairman of the U.S.S. Constitution Museum, a Trustee of Newton Cemetery, Trustee and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Massachusetts Historical Society and Moderator of the First Church in Chestnut Hill.

Edward P. Bliss, Vice President
Ned Bliss is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and is responsible for investment management and client service of private accounts, foundations, and endowments. Ned comes to Eaton Vance Investment Counsel with more than 38 years of experience in the investment management business.
Ned started his investment counsel career at Eaton and Howard Inc. before joining Loomis Sayles & Company, L.P. where he spent 27 years. From 1999-2004, Ned was affiliated with Scudder Private Investment Counsel. He joined Eaton Vance in 2004.
He has been involved with many community and charitable organizations in the area.
Ned earned a B.A. from Harvard College in 1955.

Robert H. Bortnick, CFA, Vice President
Bob Bortnick is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and is responsible for managing the accounts of individuals, trusts and endowments.
Bob has 19 years of experience in the investment management industry and, specifically, in managing money for individual and institutional accounts. He joined Eaton Vance in 1993 when the company acquired his employer, Gardner & Preston Moss (GPM), the investment counseling division of INVESCO Management & Research.
Bob earned a B.A. from Connecticut College in 1984 and an M.B.A. from Boston University in 1991. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS) and the CFA Institute.

Judith A. Cranna, CFA, Vice President
Judy Cranna is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel. She is responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating investments, tax strategies, and providing financial and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, families and foundations.
Prior to joining Eaton Vance in 2007, Judy was a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager in the Private Asset Management group of U.S Trust, N.A. and had been with U.S. Trust or its predecessor, State Street Global Advisors, since 1987. Prior to joining State Street, Judy held positions at a small venture capital firm, a real estate syndication firm and a private equity partnership. She has over 20 years of experience in the business and investment management fields.
Judy attended Skidmore College and received an M.B.A. from Simmons College. She holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute, the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS) and the Boston Estate Planning Council.

Dexter A. Dodge, Senior Advisor
Dexter Dodge joined Eaton Vance Investment Counsel in December 2005. Prior to that, he was Senior Managing Director of Voyageur Asset Management (MA) (2002 - 2005). From 1978 though July 2002, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Capital Management. He also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Freedom Mutual Funds and Freedom Group of Tax Exempt Funds. Dexter provides investment guidance for individual and institutional investment accounts as a senior portfolio manager. Previously a Senior Managing Partner of Loomis, Sayles and Company, L.P. in Boston, Dexter has been active in the investment management business for over 40 years.
Dexter is a member of the Board of Overseers and a former 24-year trustee of his alma mater, Boston University. He also served as Chairman to the Board of Overseers and as Vice Chairman to the Board of Trustees. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, Dexter retired as a Command Pilot and Brigadier General after 32 years in active duty and active reserve duty.
He was also Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the Boston University Medical Center Trustee Council and a Trustee of the Boston University Hospital. He is also a former President and Governor of the Down Town Club, a director of Wiggins Airways and other corporate and charitable boards.

Leonard F. Dolan, Vice President
Len Dolan is Vice President at Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and is responsible for working with foundations, endowments, individuals and families in managing their financial assets.
Len joined Eaton Vance in 2004 and has over 19 years of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to joining Eaton Vance, Len was a Vice President at Scudder Private Investment Counsel for 13 years.
Len graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1989 and received an M.B.A. from Boston University in 1999.

William A. Flemer, Vice President
Bill Flemer is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel, responsible for sales and marketing.
He joined Eaton Vance Investment Counsel in 2007 from The Bank of New York Trust Company, Boston, where he was the Managing Director. Prior to that, he was an Executive Vice President at Fleet Boston, serving as the National Sales Manager for Private Client Services and head of the Wealth Strategies Group. Bill has 15 years of experience managing wealth management businesses and 16 years in international banking at the Bank of Boston.
Bill earned a B.A. in Middle East Studies from Ricker College. He attended the American University in Cairo and Cairo University.

Duke Laflamme, Vice President
Duke Laflamme is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and provides investment management services to individuals, corporations, foundations and endowments.
Prior to joining Eaton Vance Investment Counsel, Duke was a Vice President and portfolio manager for Eaton Vance’s Investment Grade Fixed Income team His primary responsibilities were to manage investment grade fixed income and money market portfolios, including five mutual funds. Prior to joining Eaton Vance, Duke was an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Norwest Investment Management, where he was responsible for the Corporate, Treasury, and Asset-Backed portions of several investment grade mutual funds.
Duke earned a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics, both from Colorado State University. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS) and the CFA Institute.

Susan R. Martland, Vice President
Susan Martland is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and is primarily responsible for the portfolio management and client service of private accounts and foundations.
Prior to joining Eaton Vance Investment Counsel in 2004, Susan worked at Scudder Private Investment Counsel for 22 years and previously at Loomis, Sayles and Company, L.P. for 10 years.
Susan is actively involved in her community and has served on the board of a local non-profit organization.
Susan graduated from Smith College in 1971 and received an M.B.A. from Boston University in 1981.

David McCabe, Vice President
David McCabe is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and provides investment management services to private accounts, foundations and endowments.
Prior to joining Eaton Vance Investment Counsel in December 2005, David served as President of Voyageur Asset Management (MA). In addition to his role as President, he also was responsible for providing portfolio management services to both institutions and private investors. David also spent a number of years at Cowen & Company, where he actively managed client portfolios and served as a member of the research department, specializing in technical analysis and market strategy.

Deborah W. Moses, CFA, CIC, Vice President
Debbie Moses is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and is responsible for the investment management of private accounts.
Debbie joined Eaton Vance in 2004 and has over 28 years of experience in the investment business. Prior to joining Eaton Vance Investment Counsel, she was the managing director of Scudder Private Investment Counsel. Debbie began her investment management career as a Research Analyst for five years at Sun Life of Canada.
Debbie received a B.A. in economics from Goucher College in 1973 and an M.B.A. from Babson College in 1976. She earned her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Investment Counselor (CIC) designations in 1982.She is a Trustee of The Trustee of Reservations, Corporator for New England Baptist Hospital and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS).

Anne M. Morgan, Vice President
Anne Morgan is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and is responsible for overseeing the accounts of both individuals and institutions.
Anne has 25 years of experience in the investment industry, having begun her financial services career in 1977 with the Bank of Boston, where she was employed for seven years. She joined Eaton Vance in 1984, where she has been managing money for individual and institutional accounts.

Muriel I. Nichols, Vice President
Muriel Nichols is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel, responsible for estate and financial planning for high-net-worth clients and family groups.
Muriel joined Eaton Vance in 2008 from U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management (and its predecessor, State Street Global Advisors), where she was a Vice President, serving as senior wealth strategist in the private client group. Previously, Muriel was a Vice President at the Boston Company, where she managed trust accounts and served as a senior fiduciary counselor to the Trust and Investment Division and to Shearson Lehman Trust Company, a subsidiary of the Boston Company. Other experience includes affiliations with Bank of New England as a Senior Financial Planning Officer and American National Bank & Trust Company of Chicago as head of the Trust Legal Division.
She also practiced law at the Chicago law firm of Mayor, Brown & Platt, specializing in estate planning, probate, and individual taxation and was an estate planning faculty member of the Northwestern University American Bankers Association Trust School.
Muriel earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and a J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.
She is past President of the Boston Estate Planning Council, serves on the Estate Planning Committees of both the Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations, and has served the Board of Directors of the Chicago Estate Planning Council.

Cecilia J. O’Keefe, Vice President
Cecilia O’Keefe is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel. She manages separate portfolios for taxable high-net-worth clients, family groups and institutional investors.
Cecilia has over 30 years of experience in the investment industry, both as a Portfolio Manager and an Equity Analyst. She joined Eaton Vance in 1993, when the company acquired her employer, Gardner & Preston Moss (GPM), the investment counseling division of INVESCO Management & Research. She was associated with GPM for 11 years as a Portfolio Manager and an Analyst.
Previous associations include positions at Shawmut Bank of Boston, Chase Manhattan Bank and Boston Safe Deposit & Trust Co.
Cecilia earned an A.B. at Mount Holyoke College in 1973 and an M.B.A. at Northeastern University in 1978. She is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS) and on the board of the Boston Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Samuel D. Perry, CFA, CIC, Vice President
Sam Perry is a portfolio manager and Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and works primarily with individuals and families in managing their financial assets. He has over 35 years experience in the investment management industry, primarily with Scudder Private Investment Counsel.
Prior to joining Eaton Vance Investment Counsel in 2004, Sam spent 33 years at Scudder and four years at State Street Bank and Trust Company.
He is involved with numerous community and charitable organizations and also serves as a Trustee for many individuals and families.
Sam graduated from Harvard College in 1965 and received an M.B.A. from Boston University in 1971. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Investment Counselor (CIC) designations in 1978. Sam is a longstanding member of the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS).

Robert C. Quinn, CFP®, CFA, Vice President
Bob Quinn is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and is responsible for managing accounts of individuals, endowments and foundations.
Bob has been in the investment business since 1982. Prior to joining Eaton Vance in 2010, Bob was a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager with Boston Private Bank and Trust Company and chaired the bank’s Dividend Growth Investment Committee.
Bob is a graduate of Norwich University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration; and Lesley University, where he received a Master of Science degree and is currently a candidate for a Masters degree at Harvard University. Bob obtained his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1992, his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1998 and his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation in 2001. Antoinette Russell, Vice President
Antoinette Russell is vice president, family office services of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel. In her position, Antoinette provides an integrated family office platform for high net-worth individuals and families using a cohesive approach to their financial, tax and estate planning objectives.
Antoinette has over 30 years of experience in financial services, 11 of which have been directly engaged in leading multi-generational high-net-worth engagements, consulting and overseeing financial, legal and administrative management issues for high-net-worth families. Prior to joining Eaton Vance in 2009, she was a senior client advisor at SCS Financial, LLC. Antoinette previously spent 19 years at Bank of Boston as managing director.
Antoinette earned a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University, an M.B.A. in business management from Simmons College and has completed the program for financial planners at Boston University.

Jay A. Schlott, CFA, Vice President
Jay Schlott is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel. His responsibilities include the portfolio management and client service for individual accounts, trusts, foundations and retirement accounts.
Jay started his career as a security analyst for Bankers Trust in 1971 and joined Gardner & Preston Moss (GPM) in 1974, where he became partner and the head of the firm’s trust and individual account business. In 1989 he started Weston Asset Management, a firm devoted to building individual portfolios to meet the needs of high-net-worth individuals, foundations and small companies. In August 2005, the accounts of Weston Asset Management were acquired by Eaton Vance.
He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School in 1967 with a B.S. in Economics and in 1969 from Columbia University’s Graduated School of Business with an M.B.A. He also taught accounting and economics courses for the University of Maryland while serving in the U.S. Army in Germany. Jay earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1977.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the International Seniors Amateur Golf Society and The Wine & Food Society of Paradise Valley, Arizona.

Anne Sternlicht is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel. Her responsibilities include business development and implementation of Eaton Vance’s wealth management strategies for affluent individuals, their families and foundations. Prior to joining Eaton Vance in 2007, she was a Managing Director and Senior Business Development Officer with The Bank of New York Trust Company in Boston. Anne has over 18 years of experience working with high-net-worth clients and their advisors. Anne began her career as a Controller for Citibank’s Corporate Banking Division.

Jonathan B. Treat, Vice President
Jonathan (Dutch) Treat is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel and is responsible for the portfolio management and client service of private accounts and foundations.
Prior to joining Eaton Vance Investment Counsel in 2004, Dutch spent five years at Scudder Private Investment Counsel and 14 years with David L. Babson & Co., an investment advisory firm, where he served as the head of that firm’s personal account group. Prior to that, he was the manager of a regional corporate lending office for Wells Fargo Bank for six years.
Dutch graduated from Yale University in 1975 with a B.A. in history and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1979.
He serves as Chair of the Investment Committee on the Middlesex School Board of Trustees, is a Trustee of the Diocesan Investment Trust of the Massachusetts Episcopal Diocese and is President of the Board of the Barbara C. Harris Camp and Conference center in Greenfield, New Hampshire.

Whiting R. Willauer, Jr., CFA, CFP, Vice President
Whiting (Skip) Willauer is Vice President of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel. He provides investment management, financial planning and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, families and institutions.
Prior to joining Eaton Vance in June 2003, Skip was a Portfolio Manager and Financial Planner with Hale and Dorr Capital Management LLC and PNC Financial Advisors. Skip also spent a number of years as a Senior Financial Analyst with MasterCard International, producing several high-visibility programs geared to help member banks. In addition, he worked with large financial institutions to help them develop strategies to attract more assets. Prior to joining MasterCard, Skip spent several years as a Financial Analyst and Acting Controller for a commercial bank.
Skip holds an M.B.A., magna cum laude, from Boston University and a B.S., cum laude, in Business Administration from American University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) “practitioner.” He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS) and the CFA Institute.
