The approach or attitude now, however, is a more positive one -- that is, using investing as a means of supporting or encouraging responsible corporate behavior. That's due in large part to the fact that the evaluation of companies, from an SRI perspective, has become far more nuanced. The definition of an eligible company is no longer so black or white.
